Thapar University students successfully complete The Israel-Asia Leaders Fellowship 2016-17

New Delhi: The Israel-Asia Leaders Fellowship 2016-7 final event Delhi, 22 June 2017: Thapar University, recognized as one of the leading privately managed engineering institutions of the country, proudly announced the completion of the Israel-Asia Leaders Fellowship Program 2016 – 17 by their student Saurabh Sharma. The grand event held at the Israel-Asia Centre saw the presence of Ambassador Mark Sofer as keynote speaker. Saurabh, a student of the business school at Thapar University was selected for this fellowship through a grueling selection process amongst several hundred applicants.
The event saw also had prominent guests including the Israeli and Asian diplomats, friends and supporters of the Israel-Asia Center, trade organizations, journalists and members of Israel’s business and academic communities.
Naresh Bhansali, another student from Thapar University too showcased spectacular performance while doing his internship at Greeneye, an Israel based research & analytics firm. Both Naresh Bhansali and Sauarbh Sharma are completing their Masters in Environmental Studies at Porter School of Environmental Studies (PSES) under an exchange program. Naresh has also volunteered to do his research on the energy monitoring of the PSES green building.
