The 2023 national Clinical Impact Awards round is now open
The national Clinical Impact Awards will be open for applications from 10 March to 5 May 2023.
The 2023 national Clinical Impact Awards round is now open. You can apply by registering on the awards portal and following the steps outlined in the applicants’ guide on the application guidance page.
Employers should also familiarise themselves with the role they play in supporting their consultants through the process, by reviewing the employers’ guide on the application guidance page. You can also download posters and infographics about the awards.
Recordings of the applicants’ and employers’ webinars and Q&A are available to view. The webinar recordings are also available on the ACCIA portal.
The deadline for submitting applications is 5pm on 5 May 2023. The full 2023 timetable can be found in the applicants’ and employers’ guides.
Main changes for 2023
The role of membership organisations (previously known as nominating organisations) has changed.
This means that applications will no longer include the option to add rankings and citations from nominating organisations, but applicants will still be able to seek guidance from any number of relevant membership organisations they wish to approach.

Following the publication of the government’s consultation response on NHS Pension Scheme: proposed amendments to scheme regulations important changes relating to partial retirement and continuation of awards will also be introduced from 1 April 2023.
