The Design Village India and TU Delft, The Netherlands, Enter into an MoU for Academic and Industrial Exchange
The Design Village (TDV), Noida, has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TU Delft, Netherlands to promote academic and industrial exchange between the two esteemed institutions. The two institutions have agreed to a five-year bilateral international industry exchange and cooperation.
This collaboration between TDV and TU Delft represents a significant milestone in the global pursuit of academic excellence and innovation in the field of design. It is expected to provide students with invaluable opportunities for cross-cultural learning, exposure to diverse design methodologies, and the chance to apply their skills in real-world contexts.
Speaking about the formal association between TDV and TU Delft, Vatsal Agarwal, Associate Dean at TDV said, “The relationship between the two institutions dates back to our inception, where a design school for the future was being realized. This Memorandum of Understanding fortifies our commitment to designing for change and creating a long-term impact, establishing a platform for global and universal learners.”
Similarly, Prof. Paul Hekkert of TU Delft, echoed the sentiment, remarking, “TDV is perhaps the only school that takes design responsibility seriously and unconditionally. It’s not just a school; it’s a sanctuary where design is embraced with unmatched seriousness and dedication, offering a path to meaningful creative impact.”
Both institutions anticipate that this MoU will open new avenues for knowledge exchange, research collaboration, and industry partnerships, ultimately benefiting the broader design community.
