The Design Village (TDV) organized a workshop in Collaboration with Japan Patent Office

In collaboration with Japan Patent Office (JPO), The Design Village (TDV) organized a workshop for students on “Thinking about attractive design” for Indian JPO/IPR in Delhi. The seminar aimed to spread awareness about the importance of product design and how design education is relevant to the future. The Design Village mentor, Mr. Vatsal Agrawal, was one of the key speakers during the event sharing his knowledge and understanding of the value and impact of design in our life.

Around 90 plus junior and high school students from Indian schools attended the product design workshop session conducted by Mr. Vatsal Agrawal, where the students learned the importance of design by creating a utility toy which was a prompt given to them and they created it on their own using familiar materials.

While talking to Vatsal, Mentor TDV said ” It was a pleasure to be part of this seminar where he could participate to exchange opinions with other inspirational designers from the industry”. He further said that we should collaboratively work towards developing an environment that is appropriately protected for the designers.

These collaborations help emerging countries in developing and improving their intellectual property environment on a continuous and independent basis.
