The first meet of the G 20 Working Group on Global Partnership for Financial Inclusion ended in Kolkata today.
Concluding sessions deliberated on building pathways for advancing Financial Inclusion and Productivity Gains.Overcoming finance barriers for SME sector was one of the major topics of discussion , said Chanchal C Sarkar, Advisor,Department of Economic Affairs.
Speaking on the priorities of the Group, he said, Digital Public Infrastructure and reducing cost of remittance were the two most important issues.
Mr Sarkar said that aspirations of developing countries will also get a voice under India’s Presidency.
