The Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology hosted an online round table with colleagues from Donetsk National University: “North and South – RK – DPR – Petrozavodsk – Donetsk: pedagogy of cooperation”.
The meeting participants discussed the problems and prospects for the development of higher pedagogical education at Petrozavodsk State University and Donetsk National University, determined the directions of the network form of interaction, the choice of educational programs for network learning.

Marina Stanislavovna Gvozdeva, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, greeted the participants of the round table on behalf of the rector and on her own behalf. Marina Stanislavovna gave a positive assessment of the institutes’ intention to move from words to deeds, since an agreement on cooperation between the two universities was signed, now it needs to be filled with productive content. Networked forms of education, academic mobility are not only challenges of the time for modern higher education, but also important resources and opportunities of educational organizations.

On behalf of Donetsk National University, the meeting participants were greeted by Elena Ivanovna Skafa , Vice-Rector for Scientific, Methodological and Academic Work, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor. She stressed the importance of the meeting, expressed hope for fruitful further cooperation.

Ermolenko Rimma Evgenievna – Ph.D., Director of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, thanked her colleagues from Donetsk National University for the opportunity to participate and relevant ideas for the international December conference.

Fadeeva Marina Vladimirovna – Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of Childhood, not only spoke about the activities of the department and the interesting experience of interuniversity interaction between teachers of the department and students, but also invited colleagues to discuss specific areas of networking.

Smirnova Svetlana Iosifovna – candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor, head. Department of Theory and Methodology of Primary Education, informed colleagues about the history of the department, expressed readiness for cooperation. Kazko Elena Sergeevna – Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and Methods of Primary Education, head of the Pedagogical Laboratory of a rural school, spoke about the main events of the laboratory, about a special course on the problems of rural and small schools. The topic is interesting, in terms of the number of schools located in rural areas, the DPR is ahead of us.

Komarova Irina Vasilievna – Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and Methods of Primary Education, spoke about her vision of the Student Project Office, which will start working in the near future under her leadership, invited her colleagues to hold a pedagogical stand-up.

Director of the Institute of Pedagogy of Donetsk National University, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Yeremka Elena Vladimirovna spoke about the young, but significant for the republic, institute. Since August 16, 2019, a new structure has been created at DonNU – the Institute of Pedagogy, which includes the Department of Pedagogy, the Department of Preschool and Primary Education, the Department of Special Defectological Education and Music Pedagogical Education. The heads of the departments also shared their plans and expressed a desire to cooperate.
