THE SWEDEN INDIA NOBEL MEMORIAL QUIZ IS BACK!

Bengaluru: The Sweden India Nobel Memorial Quiz (SINMQ), one of India’s most prestigious and eagerly awaited quiz contests for college students organised by the Embassy of Sweden in New Delhi along with the Consulate General of Sweden in Mumbai, is back in an all-new, digital avatar designed for the new normal. Registrations for participation are open on www.swedeninindia.com for the quiz which goes live on November 20, 2020. Semi-finals and Finals of the SINMQ will be held on December 7 and 9, respectively.
The first prize winner will take home a prize of 100 000 INR!

In 2020, when most educational institutions are closed due to COVID and students are studying from home, the competition is between individuals as against the norm of three-member college team since 2008.

Over and above the winner, top 100 students will also win exciting prizes, including exclusive merchandise. Certificates will also be provided to the finalists.

The quiz is powered by Quizworks and curated by quizmaster Mr Raj Dam, and will test the students’ knowledge on Alfred Nobel, the Nobel Prize and Nobel Laureates. There would also be general questions around Swedish Innovations, industries, history, society and culture.

The SINMQ is conducted since 2008 as a part of the Sweden India Nobel Memorial Week, which is in 13th year.
