The University of Dundee offers Global Excellence Scholarship

The scholarship is announced for all undergraduate and postgraduate students

 

New Delhi: The University of Dundee, a UK based University is offering Global Excellence Scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The Global Excellence Scholarships gives a benefit up to £25,000 and is applicable on full-time courses only. The student doesn’t need to apply separately for the award, as the university will automatically curate the student profile that fits the criteria. The scholarship will be awarded to the most aspiring student with academic and co-curricular achievements. The scholarship is open for international students hailing from selected countries, and India is one of them. Indian students can choose from a range of subjects offered by the university. The scholarship covers undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Some of the listed countries apart from India on the list are Australia, Bhutan, Hong Kong, Russia, South Korea.
For the undergraduate courses, the scholarship will be awarded at two levels. To be considered in the level one of £5,000 per year (up to £25,000) and level two £2,000 per year (up to £10,000), scholarship applicants need to hold their academic offer letter for the undergraduate programme beginning in September 2021. The student needs to have an international fee status and achieve a UK AAB at A Level or an equivalent to this level at the university’s discretion.
The scholarship waiver of £5,000 for postgraduate programmes will be awarded based on excellence in academics and extracurricular activities. It also includes voluntary service. The student doesn’t need to apply for the scholarship as the admissions team assess the student’s eligibility. To be eligible for the scholarship, the student needs to hold an academic offer entry for the postgraduate programmes in any academic school, either in September 2021 or January 2022. The programme needs to be full-time, 180 credits and a 12-month programme. The candidate needs to hold an international fee status and should have either a UK 1st Honour degree or the equivalent at the university’s discretion.
The scholarship is applicable on the following subjects, excluding the School of Medicine and Dentistry. Anatomy / Forensic Anthropology / Forensic and Medical Art, Architecture and Urban Planning, Art and Design, Biological/Biomedical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering / Medical Imaging, Business (Accountancy / Economics / Finance / International Business), Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering, Computing / Applied Computing / Data Science / Data Engineering, Education, Electronic Engineering, Energy Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy, English, Geography / Environmental Science, History, Law, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering, Nursing and Health Sciences, Philosophy, Physics, Politics and International Relations, Psychology, Social Work.
