Three-day workshop concludes
ALIGARH : Experts and faculty members discussed the various aspects of practical training pertaining to the use of data through different software packages during the three-day “Data User Workshop on National Family Health Survey (NFHS), 2019-21”, jointly organized by the Department of Statistics and Operation Research, Aligarh Muslim University and the Department and International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai.
Professor Aquil Ahmed (Chairman, Department of Statistics and Operation Research) said that Prof. Chander Shekhar (IIPS), along with his team members Gursimran and Akif Mustafa were the resource person and a number of faculty members and research scholars from different departments of study, including Economics, Geography, Sociology, Psychology and Social Work participated in the workshop.
Professor Qazi Mazhar Ali (Former Dean, Faculty of Science) attended the inaugural function as the chief guest and Dr. Parvaiz Mehmood distributed the certificates of participation in the valedictory programme.
Dr. Irfan Ali, Dr. Mohd Faizan, and Dr. Aijaz Ahmad Dar were the local organizers of the Workshop.
