Three-day workshop on literature review concludes

ALIGARH  : The three-day workshop on “Mendeley and Zotero for Seamless Research”, organized by the Department of Business Administration, Aligarh Muslim University Kishanganj Centre, Bihar concluded with more than 90 participants from national and international universities attending the event.

The chief guest, Prof. Salma Ahmad (Dean, Faculty of Management Research and Studies), AMU said that the workshop is highly relevant for the research scholars and postgraduate students as it aims at nurturing the next generation of researchers and faculty members who would like to learn how to draft literature reviews using the Mendeley and Zotero software and AI.

She discussed how the research has changed over the time, after the introduction of new software and AI, affecting the way of drafting literature review.

The resource person, Dr. Mohammad Hasan, Assistant Professor, IILM Academy of Higher Learning, focused on the literature review and how the review could be drafted using the AI and the literature software.

He helped the participants in orienting and expanding their knowledge of literature reviews, research papers, journals, databases, hands-on training on Systematic Literature Review and search and keyword protocol. He also provided hands-on-training to the participants.

Earlier, welcoming the guest speakers and the participants, Mr. Shafee Ahmad, the Acting Director of the AMU Kishanganj Centre, opened the workshop and highlighted its salient features.

The opening ceremony was hosted by Dayanat Shahwar, an MBA student. Mohd Kashan gave an overview of the workshop and Janvi Deep Banker introduced Dr. Hasan.Dr. Mohd Yousuf Javed conducted the programme and extended a vote of thanks.
