Times Professional Learning announces courses in BBA, MBA, with Sister Nivedita University

Mumbai : Times Professional Learning, India’s leading education provider for students, young professionals and executives, has announced a strategic tie-up in collaboration with Sister Nivedita University, Kolkata, for the Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration programmes, having specialisation in Logistics and Supply Change Management (LSCM).

This programme has been introduced in keeping with the growing demand and changing industry requirements. It aims to bridge the gap for qualified personnel required to address India’s growing demand in this category by providing requisite training and employment opportunities. This dedicated task force graduating out of this programme will provide expertise in the logistics and supply chain, as India is slated to become a major stakeholder in the Indo-Pacific region. The UGC approved full time MBA-LSCM and BBA-LSCM programs will be rolled out during this academic year.

As the sector witnessed disruptive changes due to the pandemic, major multinationals and government agencies integrated technology as their enabler to maintain continuity. Subjects such as Production and Operations Management, MIS & ERP, and Supply Chain Planning, among several others, have formed the core in this sector, and will form the fulcrum of both the courses, to help upskill the students for better employability.

Speaking about the program, Mr. Anish Srikrishna, Chief Executive Officer, Times Professional Learning said, “There has been a rising demand to improve service quality to boost logistics and supply chain networks across sectors in India. It is imperative that students are well-trained with the skills necessary to conform with global industry requirements and standards. The courses are systematically curated by Sister Nivedita University and Times Professional Learning, and will be in sync with the Skill India mandate for providing a highly skilled workforce, leading to employment opportunities. This will be among the key factors in enabling India to achieve its aim of breaking into the top three world economies over the next 15-20 years.”

Mr. Satyam Roychowdhury, Honourable Chancellor, Sister Nivedita University said, “Sister Nivedita University and Times Professional Learning aim to provide highly skilled human resources by staying attuned with the growing demand in the logistics and supply chain sector.
