Times Professional Learning conducts several skill development initiatives across Rajasthan

 

New Delhi: Times Professional Learning (TPL) has partnered with both the Union government and the state government of Rajasthan to conduct several skill trainings programs the state. TPL has trained the youth of Rajasthan and empowered them to acquire skills that will help generate employment and earnings. They have backed the training up by setting up skill development centres across the state, these centres impart training in skills required for the local economy and also facilitate self-employment and employment for the trained youth.

Commenting on the same Mr Anish Srikrishna, CEO Times Professional Learning said, “We recognized skill development as an important area of focus as part of our efforts in the nation’s socio-economic development. Bridging the critical gap between manpower availability and employability is important to provide sustainable livelihood opportunities for all to grow and prosper. We are happy to have successfully executed these programs in Rajasthan.”

8 students are presently being trained in Electrical & Electronics and automotive sectors as field technician for Home Appliances & Automotive Service Technician courses under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana DDU-GKY Programme, Under the Regular Skill Training Program, Times Professional Learning has provided skills in tailoring, hair dressing and make up. Apart from this, currently 50 students are being trained in facial therapy. Under the Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) the flagship scheme of Government of India, to enhance access to secondary education and improve its quality, TPL has covered 11, 356 Students from 300 Schools of Rajasthan under this scheme. Times Professional Learning has provided skills in Telecom Sector and trained 1284 students in handset repair and has conducted field Sales Executive courses at 9 Skill Development Centres under Employment Linked Skill Training Programme across entire Rajasthan.

The training programs will leverage technology for achieving scale with consistency of outcome and high quality. Built on a strong foundation of the TPL pedagogy, state-of-the-art industry endorsed curriculum will be used to transfer skills to students. Further, each course will be customized for the requirements of the industry being addressed. The local government helps TPL by organizing Rozgar melas in various districts in which several industries and companies take part and are ready to help students in getting jobs.
