To the 200th anniversary of the birth of N.A. Nekrasov

In the reading room of the Scientific Library of PetrSU, scientific and poetry readings dedicated to Nikolai Alekseevich Nekrasov (1821-1877) prepared by the 3rd and 4th year students of the Institute of Philology were held.
2021 marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian writer Nikolai Alekseevich Nekrasov, prose writer, critic, subtle and heartfelt lyrics, publisher of the Sovremennik and Otechestvennye Zapiski magazines.

ON THE. Nekrasov, as a poet and organizer of the literary process, constitutes an entire era in the history of Russian literature. The poet in his works reflected the peculiarities of his time and influenced the social atmosphere of the era.

The organizer of the event, Associate Professor of the Department of Classical Philology, Russian Literature and Journalism N.L. Shilova read excerpts from the book by P.M. Kovalevsky’s “Meetings on the Path of Life”, in which Nekrasov was depicted as a living person.
