10.06.2021
The British company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) has published the QS World University Rankings 2022, in which TSU ranks fourth among Russian universities. In total, 48 Russian universities of the country were included in the ranking.

This year, QS expanded the list of assessed universities, and now includes 1,300 universities against 1,100 last year. Russia ranked fourth in the number of universities in the ranking, behind only the United States (177 universities), Great Britain (90), and China (58).

– The past year was difficult because of the coronavirus pandemic that has captured the whole world, and universities have also experienced this. Changes in the ranking methodology, in particular, an increase in the number of universities, also influenced the balance of power. But despite this, TSU managed to maintain its position, – noted the university.
QS World University Ranking bases assessments on the following indicators: Academic Reputation (40% of the total score), Employer Reputation (10%), Faculty/Student Ratio (20%), Citations per Faculty (20%), and International Faculty Ratio/International Student Ratio (5% each).
