Tomsk State University: TSU students received Huawei scholarships
The Huawei Russian Research Institute in Novosibirsk has summed up the results of the scholarship competition at Tomsk State University. Bachelor’s and master’s students of 4 TSU faculties became scholars of the spring semester 2020/21.
– This year we received a large number of applications from students involved in programming: computational linguistics, queuing theory, cloud computing, software engineering, and machine learning. Once again, we were convinced of the high level of the TSU students’ training, their skills and competencies, which will undoubtedly help them become professionals in the future, – said Xiao Chunpeng, director of the Huawei Russian Research Institute.
Submission of applications is quite simple, so TSU students have the opportunity to take part in this scholarship program more than once.
The collaboration program between TSU and the Huawei Russian Research Institute in Novosibirsk was signed a year ago. It includes financial support for talented students with an interest in information technology and achievements in programming, and conducting open lectures by the specialists of the center.
