Touch A Life Foundation donates most needed Hearing aids to the students from Santa Gadge Maharaj School, Pune


Pune: After visiting and distributing textbooks to students in Junnar, Touch A Life Foundation (TALF) came forward to help a struggling school and it’s students at Shree Santa Gadge Maharaj School, Koregaon Park, Pune. Mr. Boobie Liu Executive Director, Chow Tai Fook and Mr. Cyrus, Associate Director, Chow Tai Fook also joined them from Hong Kong.

As the school was unable to provide the books & hearing devices for their differently abled students. Touch A Life Foundation came forward and stood by their reputation of helping such schools and it’s underprivileged students facing the same problem in a rural-most area.

Touch a Life Foundation has reached out to 31 schools and 6000 students. It has distributed over 60,000 books for the young students to succeed. They have helped the schools in villages of Beed, Satara, Saswad, Junnar & Ahmednagar.

The school teachers and students were happy to host the foundation. The day ended on a very happy note for both the School and the team at Touch A Life Foundation.

Mr Naresh Surana- Founder of Touch A Life Foundation said, “This sector needs immediate action and a lot of drawbacks are caused by no uniformity or common platform. Some have the money to donate, some have the time to work, some have the resources required but there is no platform to bring them together peacefully and with complete transparency.” That’s when his 10 years of social work and experience & 30 years of experience in Gem & JEWELRY industry for Responsible Sourcing traceability for valuable products such as Diamonds, was put together and he formed ‘Touch A Life Foundation”.

While talking about the foundation and the work they do, Neha Pawar- India Representative said “If you fill your classroom with knowledge today, you will fill the world with knowledge tomorrow. We need so much – but most of all we need education. If we don’t have education, we have nothing.”
