Training cum Awareness programme held at Kupwara

Kupwara: A one day Training cum Awareness programme was today organised by ICDS department at Town Hall here.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Kupwara, Nazir Ahmad Lone who also holds the charge of District Programme Officer chaired the day long Awareness Programme

On the occasion, the ADC said that the role of field functionaries is very crucial in saturation of ambitious programmes like Poshan Abhiyan at the ground adding that the Government is committed to strengthen the roots of health and hygiene to eliminate causes of malnutrition.

He stressed upon the concerned to gear up the efforts for cent percent saturation of all measures devised under the Poshan Abhiyan at ground level.

Earlier, the Supervisors were sensitized about various measures to be followed and implemented at their respective areas.

The programme was attended by CDPOs, Supervisors and Anganwadi Workers besides others concerned.
