Training cum Orientation programme on ‘Poshan Maah’ organised at Thathri

DODA: A one day Training- cum-Orientation programme on Poshan Maah was today organised by the Childline Doda and ICDS Project here at Thathri.

The event was attended by the Supervisors, Anganwari Workers of Block Thathri.

Childline Doda Centre Co-ordinator, Meenakshi Raina alongwith team Members and Supervisors Charanjeet Singh, Simple Singh, Shazia Tariq, Shahida Parveen, Indu Bala, Sabiha Khan, Meena Devi, Surekha Devi and Muni Devi besides all childline staffs were present in the training program.

The Poshan Maah is celebrated to spread mass awareness regarding intake of balanced diet by children, Adolescent girls, pregnant ladies and lactating mothers so that the malnutrition, stunting, low birth weight and anaemia could be minimised among the targets groups.

The target group was also educated to feel free to call childline number 1098 when any child is found in distress and danger or in any bad situation. They can immediately contact childline Doda so that timely help could be provided to the child.
