Training on e-office working system held in Ramban

 

RAMBAN: The District Administration Ramban today organised a training course for the officers and officials of line departments to integrate the e-office system in the District.

While interacting with the participants, Deputy Commissioner Mussarat Islam said that the administration has adopted e-office software of the National Informatics Centre (NIC) to roll out e-office system. He said it will be the only mode of transaction of official business, file work, in the offices and asked the officers to adopt best practices aimed at improving the efficiency in the e-office system, disposal of official business.

ADC, Harbans Lal; ACR, Dhirender Sharma, Tehsildars and various other officers and officials of Revenue department were present on the occasion.

The DC said that e-Office has been introduced in the district to enhance transparency, accountability and assure data security & data integrity besides promoting innovation by releasing staff energy and time from unproductive procedures.

The DC informed that functioning of e-office will also be started at tehsil level soon.

During the demonstration session, the technocrats of NIC, including Shubam Gupta and Mohit Kumar imparted the know-how of working on e-office software through power point presentation to the participants.
