Training on the Management of Digital Archives for the TSGMAPD Project

Mr. Adam Cowling, Records Management Specialist at UNESCO, undertook a mission to provide technical assistance for TSGM as part of the TSGMAPD Project from 22 February to 28 February 2020.

During his mission, he trained the TSGM staff on the management of digital archives. As part of the training, he gave a presentation on the Development of a Disaster Plan for the archives and the museum as a whole. The training and presentation helped to further build the skill capacity of the TSGM staff, which will help ensure the sustainability of the project outputs.

Thanks to the generous support from KOICA, the TSGMAPD Project was able to digitize over half a million of S-21 documents and a website will soon be launched to allow for public access to the S-21 archive.
