Training programme for visiting officers held at Ramban
RAMBAN : District Administration Ramban, under the aegis of Deputy Commissioner, Ramban Mussarat Islam, on Saturday organised a one-day training programme for the visiting officers deputed for 2nd leg of the Back to Village Phase-IV (B2V4) programme.
As many as 60 visiting and other concerned officers were sensitized about their role and responsibilities during the B2V4 programme.
The training programme was held under the supervision of the Additional District Development Commissioner, Rajinder Sharma and conducted by the Chief Planning Officer, Dr Kasturi Lal.
Master Trainers, District Statistics and Evaluation Officer, Ganesh Kumar, District Social Welfare Officer, Rahul Gupta, Assistant Director, Employment Sushant Gupta highlighted the objectives of ‘Back to Village’-IV programme.
The CPO asked the officers to encourage the PRIs as well as general masses to actively participate in the programme to ensure holistic development of their respective Panchayats according to the development plan formulated by the PRIs under different schemes.
Master Trainers asked the officers to assess the functioning of the Panchayats and capture sector-wise data, besides hold detailed deliberation in the Gram Sabhas about the issues and follow-up action taken on Back to village-l, ll and III by the concerned departments.
They asked visiting officers to provide the information in a pre-designed format for the allocated Panchayat, besides capturing Panchayat and sector-wise data under B2V4.
The Master Trainers briefed the visiting officers about the objective and salient features of the B2V4 and asked them to strictly adhere to the prescribed guidelines of the programme.
During the interactive session, the participants raised various queries pertaining to the programme and the resource persons cleared their doubts on-the-spot.
