Tribhuvan University has been ranked within 1201 to 1500 among 1,904 Universities in the world, as per World University Rankings by Times Higher Education (THE). It was previously ranked between 801-1000. TU has an overall score of 3.7 stars, according to student reviews.

The TU has been in the University Rankings for six consecutive years. It is the only university in Nepal to make it to the World University Rankings.
