Tsinghua University Launches First Aid Training Base on Campus

On the morning of May 30, the Tsinghua University Campus First Aid Training Base was unveiled at the Trade Union Club. Vice President Zheng Li attended the unveiling ceremony and delivered a speech.

Zheng Li said that campus first aid is an important skill that concerns the life, health and safety of every teacher and student. The school attaches great importance to campus first aid training. The General Affairs Office and the school union have organized the establishment of a campus first aid training base to provide professional first aid training and practice opportunities for teachers and students. Further strengthen school first aid education, protect the life and health of teachers, students and staff, cultivate the awareness and ability of teachers, students and staff to be willing to rescue, dare to rescue and be good at rescue, and promote campus first aid education to go deeper and more practical.

After the ceremony, the 2024 Campus First Aid Training was held at the training base. Under the professional guidance of the teacher team of the Beijing Red Cross Emergency Rescue Training Base, more than 300 faculty and staff from the Sports Department, Art Education Center, Security Department, Library, Art Museum, Student Community Center, School Hospital and other departments participated in the training.

In the future, the campus first aid training base will become an important platform for all teachers, students and staff of the school to learn first aid knowledge and improve first aid skills, and play an active role in promoting the school first aid education pilot work.
