Tula’s International School Celebrates 10th Founder’s Day

Dehradun: Tula’s International School celebrated its 10th Founder’s Day with grandeur and enthusiasm within the school premises today. The program commenced with the felicitation and warm welcome of the esteemed Chief Guest, Scientist at UR Rao Satellite Center, ISRO, Nitish Kumar, and the Special Guest, renowned Indian Environmental Activist Ridhima Pandey. This was followed by the lamp lighting ceremony by all the dignitaries present on the occasion.

The cultural evening featured a mesmerizing array of performances. The students enthralled the audience with a heartwarming song performance on ‘Something Just Like This’ by the iconic band Coldplay.

The entire school showcased their remarkable talent through the captivating drama, ‘Tagore’, which beautifully portrayed the pivotal life events of the great poet Rabindranath Tagore. The drama incorporated elements of contemporary and traditional dance forms, set to the enchanting tunes of ‘This is me’ and ‘Am I wrong’. The school choir also added to the musical extravaganza with melodious renditions of traditional Bengali and Hindi songs, including the timeless creation by Tagore himself, ‘Ekla Chalo’.

In addition to the cultural performances, the Founder’s Day celebration also featured informative and engaging exhibitions on Science, a mesmerizing demonstration of the Potter’s Wheel, and a captivating showcase of Art and craft. The Shutter Bug exhibition displayed the creative and artistic talents of the students, offering a visual treat for the attendees.

The Chief Guest Nitish Kumar praised the students and the institution, saying, “It is heartening to see such remarkable young talent and a school that truly values education and character development. Tula’s International School is making a significant impact in shaping the future of our nation.”
