TVS Credit announces the winners of EPIC, a unique Campus Engagement Program
New Delhi: Inspiring the aspiring business and tech professionals, India’s leading financial services provider TVS Credit Services Ltd, announced the winners of its first annual campus engagement programme- E.P.I.C.
The contest aimed at encouraging young minds to put their technical knowledge and problem solving skills to test, with challenges based on Analytics, Strategy and IT. It invited full-time students to participate from across B-schools, M.E/M.Tech students, B.Tech/B.E students from 3rd year and 4th year, students pursuing M.A/B.A/B.Sc/M.Sc. The 5-month long contest received more than 10,000 registrations from over 500 B-Schools in India such as IIT, IIM, BITS, IMT, IIFT to name a few.
Speaking about the first edition of E.P.I.C. campus challenge, Mr. Venkatraman Gopalakrishnan, Chief Executive Officer, TVS Credit says, “We at TVS Credit realise that for a company to be an employer of choice, the journey begins long before our potential team members are even thinking of employment. Throughout the contest we witnessed the futuristic vision these young minds hold.”
Out of those registered, 300 teams were shortlisted through three rounds of intense challenges, where they were assessed on their critical and strategic thinking. Mukul Singh and Shrey Bansal, IIT Delhi won the IT challenge; Manpreet Singh, IIM Kashipur won the Analytics challenge; Vishal Jogani and Sidhant Mohanty won the Strategy challenge.
Speaking on the design of the contest, Mr. Charandeep Singh, Head – Marketing & CRM, TVS Credit says, “E.P.I.C, our annual campus engagement program is unique and engaging. The modules were tailored based on different areas of competencies and interests – Strategy, IT and Analytics. The contest offered students with an opportunity to work on real-time challenges faced by businesses..”
As a part of the contest, the national finalists were invited to present their solutions as a part of the EPIC Grand Finale held in The Hilton, Chennai. The top three winners and other national finalists were awarded attractive cash prizes.
