The purpose of Stock Torero is to build financial trading as a skill amongst students. It is aimed at empowering students with a proper understanding of the opportunities in the financial markets.
The winners were: HR College from Mumbai
1st Runner up IMI Delhi
2nd Runner up Bedekar College Thane
The winners received cash scholarships and trophys.
Mr. Ambarish Datta, MD & CEO, BSE Institute Ltd said that, “There are many characteristics and skills required by financial traders for succeeding in the financial markets. The ability to understand the inner workings of a company, and its fundamentals and the ability to determine the direction of the trend are a few of the key traits needed, but none of these are as important as the ability to contain emotions and maintain discipline. The Stock Torero trader’s trophy simulates the environment of the live financial markets and enables students to demonstrate these very skills when they compete with each other to win this trophy. Many of our past winners have gone on to develop the skills they demonstrated and build successful careers in the financial markets. I am confident that this year’s winners will also go on to become successful market professionals.”
