Two day inter college fest Melange 2017 begins at IMS Ghaziabad 500 students take part

New Delhi: The Two day inter college cultural extravaganza MELANGE- 2017 opened here today at IMS Ghaziabad campus.

About 500 students from 125 institutes from various states and cities from various parts of the country including Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Madhya Pardesh , Bihar and UP are taking part in the two day festivities spread in 13 competitive events including solo and group dance ,solo and duet singing, rangoli, quiz, face painting ,collage making, skits, Photography Antakshri and Fashion show .The winners of various competitions were awarded cash prizes, mementos and certificates.

The gala inter-collegiate cultural fest “MELANGE-2017”, of IMS Ghaziabad was inaugurated by Chief Guest, Mr. Manoj Kr. Sethi, Senior r. Vice President, SUBROS Ltd., and Guest of Honour Dr. Anil Sethi, Founder, GK Group of Industries, in the presence of Honourable Managing Trustees of IMS Society- Shri Sanjay Aggarwal,(Chairman), Dr. Pramod Aggarwal (Trustee IMS Ghaziabad), Shri Rakesh Chharia ( Gen. Secretary), Shri Apurve Goel, Executive Council Member, IMS Society and Director-IMS Ghaziabad Dr.Tapan Kumar Nayak.

The major highlight of the Two day festivities is a fashion show titled Paridhan where student both boys and girls from various colleges showcased their design and innovations.

Another highlight will be celebrating performance by eminent Bollywood singer Shradha Pandit , the ‘Bareili ki barfi’ Sweety Tera Drama play back singer and Maahi Rathod, the Indian idol fame singer .
