Two days training programme on GPDP, eGramSwaraj held at Ganderbal
Ganderbal: A two days training program on GPDP and eGramSwaraj portal was today inaugurated by the Assistant Commissioner Development Ganderbal, Bilal Mukhtar at Conference Hall Mini Secretariat, here.
The training was organized by Regional Extension Training Centre Budgam. During the training as many as 30 Panchayat Secretaries were trained for various schemes of the central government.
Speaking on the occasion, the ACD said that eGramSwaraj aims to bring in better transparency in the decentralised planning, progress reporting and work-based accounting besides to strengthen e-Governance in Panchayati Raj Institutions.
Meanwhile, eGramSwaraj assists in enhancing the credibility of Panchayats and would induce greater devolution of funds to PRIs. Furthermore, it provides a platform for effective monitoring by higher authorities.
During the training program, the experts briefed the participants about the features and usage of eGramSwaraj portal and GPDP.
