Two state-of-the-art facilities inaugurated at University Polytechnic
Aligarh : The Vice-Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Professor Naima Khatoon, inaugurated two state-of-the-art facilities at the University Polytechnic—the Advanced Computer Lab for the Architecture Section and the Advanced Manufacturing Lab. The occasion also saw the official release of the new University Polytechnic brochure.
In her speech, Prof. Naima Khatoon commended the Polytechnic’s holistic development and emphasized its potential to grow into a national center for skill development. She reaffirmed AMU’s commitment to providing top-tier technical education.
The event was attended by Prof. Mirza Salim Beg, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology; Prof. Arshad Umar, Principal of University Polytechnic; and faculty members and staff.
Prof. Arshad Umar provided an overview of the Polytechnic’s achievements, applauding the faculty’s dedication and the institution’s significant contributions to technical education. He also highlighted progress in training and placement activities.
Prof. Mirza Salim Beg, in his address, praised the Polytechnic for being one of India’s finest, attributing this distinction to its skilled faculty and cutting-edge facilities that enhance the quality of education and skill development.
The event was anchored by Dr. Arshad Husain, and concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Dr. Asif Ali.
