Udhampur Admin distributes packed food among stranded labourers at Chenani

Udhampur: The district administration, in its endeavors to facilitate the outbound migrant labourers being sent back to their home towns in different states and Union Territories of the country in the wake of COVID-19, today distributed packed meals among the labourers at Chenani.
These labourers were are on their way to Katra from different districts of Kashmir division for boarding the Shramik special train.
Sub Divisional Magistrate Chenani, Abdul Sattar, under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, Dr Piyush Singla, provided more than 800 food packets to the labourers at Domail Chenani.
SDM along with SDPO Chenani Ahmed Shafi interacted with the labourers who expressed satisfaction for the facilities being extended to them enroute by the concerned district administrations during their journey towards their home towns.
