Udhampur Judicial Employees celebrate International Women’s Day

Udhampur : Udhampur Judicial Employees today celebrated International Women’s Day at District court complex with great enthusiasm in which a large number of serving and retired women officers and Bar members participated.

Programme was held under the chairmanship of Senior Retd Administrative Officer, Raksha Slathia. Besides others, Accounts officer, Sudershan Sharma, Gulam Sugra , Section officer, Puran Singh ,Accountant Jitender Paul Singh and a large number of judicial employees graced the occasion.

To honor women’s employees and presiding officers on the occasion employees presented bouquets to District Sessions Judge , Additional Sessions Judge , Sub Judge(CJM) , Sub Judge (Special Mobile Magistrate), Sub Judge, (Secretary DLSA) , Munsiff , District Mobile Magistrate Traffic, Addl Spl mobile magistrate .

Congratulating women on this special day, Senior Judicial employee Ranjit Parihar said, “It is a day to celebrate the spirit of all women, who have played extraordinary roles in shaping their families, society and organizations with an untiring determination.” He added that ‘Our country is one of the few places that boast of showcasing extraordinary women from very early times.’

He enlightened the gathering about the aims and objectives of celebrating the day and urged upon the students and others present on the occasion to spread maximum awareness among the masses regarding the rights of women folk as enshrined in the constitution.
