Under 19: T-20 Final played at NSS, Anantnag

Anantnag: Govt. Higher Secondary School Salia today emerged victorious in the ongoing Under 19 T-20 cricket tournament held at Sports Stadium Nanil here.
The tournament was organised by District Youth Services Department Anantnag, as many as 20 teams participated in the tournament and two cricket teams from Govt. Higher Secondary School Salia and Govt. Higher Secondary School Mattan played the final match.
The District Development Commissioner, Anantnag, K. K. Sidha was the Chief Guest on the occasion and ADC, Anantnag Gh. Hassan Sheikh was the guest of honor.
The DDC on the occasion hailed the initiative of the department in organizing sports events, he assured the players for every possible support from district administration to boost sports activities and to keep youth away from the burning issue of drug addiction.
The DDC advised the players to adhere to Covid-19 SOPs and guidelines while playing games besides, to encourage and incline the youth towards sports, he also distributed sports kits, mementos and medallions among players.
