UNESCO calls Students to participate in Sustainable Environment Video Competition

UNESCO, in collaboration with the Association of Indonesian Ecoprinters (AEPI), the L’Oréal Foundation through the partnership UNESCO L’Oréal for Women in Science and Loves Back is organising a short-silent video competition for students (aged 15 to 19 in Southeast Asian countries, girls are encouraged to participate).

The theme of the Short-silent video Competition is “Sustainable Environment during COVID-19 Pandemic”. The short-silent video shall not contain any spoken words or narrations so that they can be understood universally without translation. The video should showcase students’ ideas, projects, activities or campaign towards promoting sustainable actions for the environment during the pandemic. The competition is launched on the Thursday 22 April 2021 World Earth Day and Girls in ICT online celebration and the entry submission will close by Sunday, 30 May 2021.

The winners will be announced during the Word Environment Day 2021 on 5 June 2021 and will receive a special Eco-print and natural dye kit. Please check the detailed Term of Reference of the competition on the link below.
