Unicorns and Soonicorns hire from Masai School to strengthen their tech prowess as it creates the future workforce for India’s Tech Ecosystem

Mumbai: Masai School, an alternative education and career-focused startup, in a recent development announced that the July, August, September (JAS) 2021 placement season witnessed massive interest from soonicorns and unicorns with companies such as Ajio, Meesho, No Broker, HomeLane, WhiteHat Jr, Cuemath, Koo App and more, recruiting students from the outcome-driven education platform. In the current placement cycle, (JAS 2021) the company recorded 100% placements with the maximum number of graduates (about 70 percent) coming from Tier II and III cities and towns. Further, 44 percent of students came from non-computer science backgrounds.
As an outcome driven-learning platform, with the strong belief that anybody can code given the right opportunity, Masai School is open to any individual who is keen on becoming a software developer. The students securing successful jobs have been rigorously trained in core tech skills such as React, with focus on building strong basics, in-depth knowledge and problem-solving abilities. Additionally, the students have also undergone soft skills training to help with better communication. The eligibility criteria to enrol for Masai School’s program is 12th standard pass. Further, the Income Sharing Agreement (ISA) model allows students to study with zero upfront fees payment, nurturing the creation of a job-ready workforce and democratizing education.
With close to 20% students from completely non-technical backgrounds, emphasizing the need to democratize education to create a skill-rich workforce, Prateek Shukla, CEO & Co-founder, Masai School said, “We strongly believe that any aspiring software developer should be able to choose their careers over having to compromise on them. At present, Masai School has graduated 400+ students across 14 batches, with a placement rate of over 92% and an average CTC of INR 7.5 LPA.
