Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh: Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) Extends PM Modi’s Welfare Schemes to Every Doorstep Without Discrimination
Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Science & Technology; MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh today said, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) carries Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s welfare schemes to every doorstep, reaching out to the remotest Panchayat and village, and in fact the last man in the queue without any discrimination.
Dr. Jitendra Singh said this at Udhampur (J&K) during an interaction with the beneficiaries of various schemes under Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.
During the programme, Dr. Jitendra Singh reiterated that it is first time in the history of independent India that the development has reached the remotest corners of the country, that too without discrimination of caste, religion, creed or sex. This Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is PM Modi’s guarantee that every scheme must reach 100 percent saturation so that no one is left out in the country, Dr. Jitendra Singh added.
The minister said that the schemes provide for permanent house, tapped water connection, toilet, free treatment, free ration, gas connection, electricity connection, bank account, benefits under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, PM Fasal Bima Yojna, PM Swanidhi Yojana and PM Swamitva property cards among others.
During the interaction with the beneficiaries, Prime Minister said that more than 1.25 crore people have connected with ‘Modi ki guarantee’ vans in a short time. Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra focuses on saturating Government schemes, making sure they reach citizens across India, PM added.
Dr. Jitendra Singh said, VBSY is one of the pillars of making India a developed country by 2047 when India will be celebrating centenary of its freedom.
Earlier during the programme, Dr. Jitendra Singh distributed bicycles among girls under Khleo India and Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Kisan Credit Cards and vehicles under Mumkin Scheme.
