Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar interacts with students at Thrissur, Kerala
Minister of State for Electronics, IT, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Rajeev Chandrasekhar on Saturday called upon students to acquire technological and digital skills as innovations and start-ups will present expanded job opportunities in the next decade.
The Minister said, India today is the fastest-growing economy and is attracting the highest global investments. He observed that while the country was importing 92 per cent of its mobile phones in 2014, it manufactures 97 per cent and export 70,000 crore rupees worth mobile phones today.
Mr. Chardrasekhar was interacting with students of the St Paul’s School in Thrissur, where he spent his primary school days in the late sixties.
