Mumbai : UniScholars, a one-stop student mobility platform, in collaboration with ObserveNow, hosted the Higher Education Leaders Roundtable on January 19th in Mumbai. This event brought together influential figures from the education sector to engage in an insightful discussion on “Fostering an Enhanced Study Abroad Ecosystem.” The gathering marked a significant milestone in shaping the future of Indian students in international education.
The event, hosted at The Sofitel, witnessed active participation from Dr. Monica Kennedy, Minister-Counsellor, Commercial and Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner from the Australian Government, alongside esteemed representatives from various renowned institutions including the University of Mumbai, St. Xavier’s College, K. J. Somaiya, NMIMS, R.A. Poddar College, Mithibai College, Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Jai Hind College, Universal AI University, FP Schools & The Free Press Journal School, and many more. The discussion was led by Amit Singh, Founder of UniScholars andย centred around the evolving landscape of international education, as leaders explored strategies to enhance study abroad programs, cultivate global competence among students, the growing interest of Indian talent abroad, and addressed financial barriers through scholarships and funding initiatives.

The discussion also focussed on the need to help students adopt innovative courses in tech & AI as well as entrepreneurship/management studies preparing them for the evolving demands of the global landscape and which could further enhance their job prospects in the Indian and international market.
