University Living’s latest report reveals that 50% of its survey respondents think virtual tours can deliver a better student housing experience

University Living, a leading global student housing platform, has released a report based on its recently conducted survey of over 1000 respondents. It gave interesting insights into how technology can make the housing experience more seamless and convenient for students. Here’s what the report showed.

50% of the survey’s respondents said that virtual tours are the best way to enhance the student housing experience. This is primarily due to virtual tours offering a fair idea of the accommodation prior to the students booking and moving into the space. Apart from this, 39% of the respondents felt that offering roommate-matching services would significantly improve their living situation. After all, one’s relationship with their roommate can determine how easy or difficult it can be to live in a place.

Further, University Living’s report revealed that 6% of its survey respondents said that on-demand maintenance would go a long way in making their student housing experience better. Another 6% said that generative customer support is essential in upgrading their experience and making it more convenient.
