University of Adelaide: Top 100 rankings reconfirm University’s research quality
The prestigious ShanghaiRanking Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2022 has included 41 of the University of Adelaide’s research fields in its latest rankings by subject, including many in the top 50 and top 100:
Mining and Mineral Engineering – 11 in the world
Automation and Control – 32 in the world
Dentistry and Oral Sciences – 32 in the world
Water Resources – 33 in the world
Civil Engineering – 36 in the world
Agricultural Sciences – 45 in the world
Computer Science and Engineering – 50 in the world
Veterinary Sciences – 61 in the world
Electrical and Electronic Engineering – 84 in the world
Energy Science and Engineering – 84 in the world
Earth Sciences – 85 in the world
Clinical Medicine – 86 in the world
Public Health – 90 in the world
Nursing – 91 in the world
Mechanical Engineering – 92 in the world

The latest ShanghaiRanking results reflect the University of Adelaide’s position as one of the world’s top universities and its consistently high placings in all of the globally recognised rankings for the tertiary education sector.
