The University of Adelaide has been ranked 109 in the world, placed repeatedly and firmly in the top 1% of universities globally, and again the highest ranked South Australian university.

“The University of Adelaide’s consistently high rankings reflect the world-class research, high quality staff and great graduates which collectively enables the University’s work to address some of society’s most pressing challenges,” said Professor Peter Høj AC, Vice-Chancellor and President of the University of Adelaide.

“We embrace our role and purpose to build a better future for South Australia, the nation and the world.

“Our students and staff continue to make history as they pursue meaningful change by applying proven values in the pursuit of cutting-edge educational and research excellence.

“High rankings do not happen by accident: they show that the University is meeting and exceeding the local and global community’s evolving needs and challenges.”
