University of Amsterdam: New fund supports smart solutions for social issues

0

The FMG Fund at the University of Amsterdam supports projects that translate scientific insights on people, behaviour and society into smart solutions to improve the world around us. For example, to relieve the mental pressure on young people, help reducing our plastic consumption or to work on a circulair city. As a donor you support our researchers who take concrete action for this. Will you help us make a difference?

At the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences (FMG), we believe science should be firmly rooted in broader society. To apply our knowledge and insights even more in society and offer smart solutions for social problems, we have set up the FMG Fund.

The FMG Fund helps talented young researchers tackle societal problems and develop real-world applications for their scientific knowledge. The fund provides financial support for projects focused on the development of concrete products, training courses or other scientifically validated interventions.
