University of Bremen: Corona: Regulations extended until April 30th
Due to the increasing number of corona infections, the general regulations at the University of Bremen for students and employees will be extended until April 30th at the start of the summer semester. Employees in the state of Bremen can also get a free test.
With a view to the forecasts of the Robert Koch Institute, however, the university management assumes that the rules will apply until the end of April. These measures represent an important component in containing the pandemic.
Employees can be tested free of charge
As a further measure, the state of Bremen is now offering all its employees a quick test every week. Employees can have themselves tested free of charge in various centers. Information on the locations and the procedure can be found on our Corona page “Information for employees” .
Students are asked to be tested
The Rectorate of the University of Bremen also recommends that all students take part in regular tests. Because as people from Bremen, they too have the opportunity to take a quick test once a week free of charge.
In addition to the state’s offers, the university is currently working on setting up its own test infrastructure. As soon as this is ready for use, there will be information via the known channels – newsletter, homepage, social media.
Hygiene rules continue to be important
Always observe the distance and hygiene regulations. On campus, everyone over the age of 16 is required to wear a medical face mask inside buildings and on the outside (surgical mask or a mask of the FFP2 standard or comparable).
