University of Bremen: Falling incidence: Careful relaxation in some areas
In the case of a stable incidence of less than 50, more presence on campus will be possible again in some areas of the University of Bremen from next week. This applies to individual workplaces in the SuUB and courses in partial presence. In addition, there is again take-away in Café Central.
The State and University Library (SuUB) again offers individual workstations in the headquarters on the boulevard. The SuUB provides details on the procedure on its website . Interested parties are asked to find out more before visiting.
Partial presence at courses
If the incidence in the city of Bremen continues to be stable below the value of 50, from next week, in addition to the ongoing laboratory internships and similar non-digitizable course forms, further courses can again take place in partial presence.
The summer semester can still be studied digitally
The course in the summer semester can still be studied digitally for everyone, with the exception of non-digitizable teaching formats such as laboratory internships. The newly added face-to-face events represent an additional and voluntary offer. These can be seminars, exercises and tutorials. Lectures are only offered online. The decision as to whether courses with partial cohorts are held in attendance rests with the lecturers. Individual exams, such as those for e-General Studies, will also be offered in attendance again.
Distance, masks, tests
For the new events, the mask requirement and the distance requirement of 1.5 meters apply. Those who come to campus are asked to be tested beforehand. Free quick tests are available to all citizens several times a week in test centers all over Bremen.
Take-away at Café Central
The Café Central will also reopen its doors. From June 1st, takeaway food can be purchased there between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Details can be found on the website of the Studierendenwerk .
