University of Bremen: Language Center offers courses for everyone

The language center of the universities in the state of Bremen will offer a diverse online program in March 2021. If you are considering brushing up on your language skills or even learning a new language, this is the right place for you. Participation is open to all interested Bremen residents.
From Arabic to Russian: one to two-week intensive language courses are offered for 13 different languages. They are closely supervised by the teachers via a learning platform and video conferences.
There are new beginner courses for Italian, Polish, Russian and Portuguese. These five-day courses at the University of Bremen provide an intensive introduction to the language and culture and are recognized as an educational period according to the Bremen Educational Time Act. This also applies to an English course at level B1.

Individual learning pace in the tutor program
Everyone has the opportunity to improve their English skills: The language center offers two-week intensive courses at levels B2 (general language) to C1 (academic and technical English), which can also be used to provide the necessary evidence for admission to study.
Another offer is the tutor program, in which languages can be learned independently with individual support. The learning objective, learning pace and learning material are determined together with the tutors themselves.
