University of Bremen: Universities in the state of Bremen are switching to digital teaching

With this measure, the expected changed mobility behavior during the Christmas days and over the turn of the year should be taken into account at an early stage. Consequential effects on the infection rate at the universities should be avoided as far as possible.
Teaching formats that cannot be digitized, such as laboratory internships, will continue to be offered as face-to-face events during this period.

From January 10, 2022, the courses at all universities will return to the usual level of attendance for this winter semester.

Fortunately, there has been no major infection rate at the Bremen universities so far. This speaks both for the effectiveness of the measures agreed between the universities and the science authority and for the prudent and considerate behavior of all university members.
