University of Florida: Vobile locates in Gainesville Innovation District solidifying collaboration with UF
Vobile, the worldwide leading Software-as-a-Service provider in digital content protection and monetization, recently announced the opening of a new R&D and Operations Center in Gainesville, Fla., home to more than 75,000 college students between the University of Florida and Santa Fe College.
This strategic move is part of the company’s rapid growth initiatives. This is the first step in Vobile’s plan to create hundreds of jobs in Gainesville.
“We have chosen Gainesville, Fla., as our next center for innovation and product development because of its proximity to the University of Florida (UF) Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering and the top talent produced there,” said Yangbin Wang, CEO of Vobile. “In addition, UF has made significant investments in artificial intelligence (AI) research and a commitment to students being AI proficient before graduation. Our new office will focus on our continued hiring efforts to secure the talent required to execute our growth strategy.”
Mr. Wang is the founder and CEO of Vobile. He has led Vobile’s growth through continuous product innovation, business development, and strategic acquisitions. Mr. Wang earned a Master of Science degree from the University of Florida and a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Zhejiang University.
