University of Freiburg Leads the Way in Groundbreaking AI Research Initiatives

The Nature Index 2024 Artificial Intelligence gauges the contribution of research institutions in the field of artificial intelligence on the basis of the contributions their researchers made to corresponding publications. Based on the Nature Index database and the Digital Science Dimensions database, this index considers Nature Index articles and Dimensions publications from the field of artificial intelligence between 2019 and 2023. The list includes the metrics ‘Share’, ‘Count’, and ‘Artificial intelligence (%)’. The ranking is based on the ‘Share’ score.
