University of Galway Launches ‘Global Achievement Scholarships 2024-2025’ to Nurture Academic Excellence and International Diversity

In a significant step towards fostering academic excellence and embracing global diversity, University of Galway announced the launch of the ‘Global Achievement Scholarships 2024-2025’ exclusively designed for undergraduate students in the College of Arts, Social Sciences and Celtic Studies and the College of Business, Public Policy, and Law. These scholarships aim to attract and support talented individuals from around the world, providing them with a unique opportunity to pursue their academic aspirations in these specific fields at one of Ireland’s esteemed institutions.

Under the scholarship, eligible applicants seeking admission in the colleges will receive a €2,000 reduction in tuition fees for their first year of undergraduate study. No separate application is required, as all eligible candidates will be automatically considered based on their academic results and personal statement. To qualify for this prestigious scholarship, successful candidates must be assessed as international for fee purposes, self-funded, and have met the conditions outlined in their full-time undergraduate course offer letter from the College of Arts, Social Sciences and Celtic Studies or the College of Business, Public Policy, and Law. Additionally, they must have secured a place for full-time study at the University of Galway in an eligible program starting September 2023 within these specified colleges.
