University of Greenwich: 100-place rise for University of Greenwich in world rankings
Greenwich is now at 501-600 in the rankings, which are based on research income and productivity, knowledge transfer, citations, international outlook of the university, and staff-student ratios. THE also conducted a survey on university reputations for teaching and research as part of its calculations.
Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Jane Harrington, said: “It is great to see the University of Greenwich rise in this league table of the world’s universities. These rankings are a good indicator of our progress as a university and it is testament to the continuing hard work by our staff.”
Now in their 19th year, the rankings are drawn from data from over 1,500 institutions. Analysts look at almost 2,000 of the world’s leading research universities and more than 22,000 academic reputation survey responses.
