University of Greenwich Introduces £620k in Student Scholarships
The scholarship, in the form of a £10,000 cash bursary or fee waiver, is to assist applicants from under-represented groups to complete their study and progress into the workforce, and is available for full and part-time study of this course.
62 of the awards come directly from OfS funding while another two will be generously provided by university partner, ASN.

Previously only available for students studying MSc Data Science and its Applications, Greenwich is announcing as an expansion of eligible courses at the university so for 2024/5 this will include:
Dr George Wloch, MSc Fintech and Finance Programme Leader said:
“We are delighted to announce today that we have secured a number of Scholarships from the UK Government for appropriately qualified students pursuing our new and exciting MSc in Fintech and Finance.
“Fintech represents the coming together of cutting edge technology and traditional finance to create and drive forward a entirely new class of investment and payment opportunities. Covering both institutional and retail customers, the Fintech modules in our programme build on the Finance modules to prepare students for a very rewarding leading edge finance career in banks, insurers, wealth managers and many other financial institutions.”

“Algorithms and other data-heavy applications are increasingly being embedded into systems that shape decision making and impact many peoples’ lives. It is vital that we build Data Science solutions in a way that brings benefits to, and increases the autonomy of, a wide range of diverse communities.
